This is my flat plan/developed scamp, the reason I have created this is to further one of my ideas to try and create it as a final piece, creating this has been very helpful as it has shown me what a more detailed version of my scamp looks like and it allows me to start choosing where to place things such as barcodes to publishers logos.
I have picked this scamp as I believe this suits my brief the most as it is aimed for 9+ years old children and I believe that this scamp carries the characteristics of what a 9+ year old would be looking for these are vibrant colors and mystical creature (the wolf), also I believe that it suits the area I am basing my piece around which is flaws, the flaws in this particular image are shown through how the girl in it, is flawed by the wolf outline made in her cape as where ever she goes this flaw will be following her.
The points I have labelled on my flat plan are:
-The inside of the wolf will be white as I want this piece to stay simple but look professional
-The outside of the wolf/the cloak to be red because of the stories name is 'little red riding hood'
